Why I started a Home Staging Business

Why I started a Home Staging Business

If I’m being honest, I was terrified when I started my staging business 5 years ago. But I knew that there were so many possibilities waiting for me outside of my comfort zone, so I went for it! I’m so glad I did, because I’ve been able to serve amazing people like Rashmi, who said this about my business, "Sarika was amazing to communicate with and accommodated our home staging project within a tight deadline. The details I expected from the staging were met and surpassed in every way and whoever visited the home during the sale period were blown away with how the house looked." Her heartfelt words gave me all the warm fuzzies. There’s so much joy in what I do, and for that I am so very thankful.

I can’t say I love EVERYthing about my job, and if I’m being honest, there are some days I wish that all the hard work, late nights, and sacrifices that come with being my own boss would disappear! But if I could pick the top three favorite things I love about being a home stager, I’d pick helping families through big transitions, furnishing vacant properties, and SHOPPING for new inventory!

I guess you could say I’m a pro at saying “thank you” – I keep a daily gratitude journal (inspired by Oprah). And in the spirit of thankfulness, I want to tell you that I am grateful for the support and encouragement from our online community and followers! As I venture Luxe into the world of Air Bnb's, I feel so much gratitude to pursue what I love and have you here for the ride. I’ll never tire of saying it, friends. Thank you for being here.

The best is yet to come,

Sarika Bali
